Some known issues

This post is about some knows issues that have no fix for the moment.

Groups

Some contacts will not show in the groups they are supposed to. There seems to be a bug in the program (ActiveX control) that is used to access the information which I can not fix.

Custom contact names

In Windows Live Messenger users have the option to change the display name of a contact. The Messenger Gadget will not show the display name because there is no way to know this name from the program (ActiveX control) that the gadget uses to get the user information. To work around this issue you can right-click on the contacts on Messenger Gadget and set custom names for contacts.
